Day or Night?

Some seniors are going to college, some are immediately going in the job force, and there are the few that are doing neither. Those who have decided to go to college are most likely choosing when to have classes. Students have the choice of having classes in the morning or in the afternoon.

While people have differing opinions on when they would rather wake up in the morning, people who like to wake up early would rather choose morning classes over afternoon. As there are benefits to both, these people would still rather choose mornings. Another reason could be because it fits to their schedules.

With morning classes, students have a few options to what to do that day. After their class, they might have another class that day or be free all afternoon. If they are a morning person and like to learn in the mornings, then it would be a better for them to have morning classes. Classes in the mornings are also likely to have less people.

Night classes are likely to be only once a week. If students want to, they could take a nap before their class. Or if they don’t need a nap, they could get work done. If night class students want to, they could bring a snack to class to hold them over until class is over.

Night classes can be irritating when the whole day before class you have the mentality of, “Oh no, I have class later”. Most people would rather get class over with earlier than later.

Choosing the time of a class really depends what people would rather have, afternoons free with time to get work done in the afternoon, or mornings free with time to get work done.

If a student is a morning learner, then they’ll benefit from having morning classes. But, if they’re a night learner, then of course night classes are for them. Seniors choosing when their classes are really depends on when they want to learn.
