Callie Metzger showing off her take on this years fall fashion.

As fall begins, many good fashion trends have appeared along with a few bad. After interviewing freshman Lizzie Tuttle and senior Callie Metzger, I got a new insight on fall fashion.

“I definitely like flannels for fall because I think you can dress them up, but you can also make them look nice and cute,” stated Metzger.

Tuttle said her favorite fall fashion trend is vests because “you can make them look nice by wearing a cute shirt, or casual by wearing a sweatshirt.”

Many fall trends have been influenced by social media.

“I have definitely used Instagram and Pinterest as a big influence in how I dress and I have also looked at the way people dress and I usually take their outfit and change it up and put my style into it,” stated Metzger.

“ I have definitely used Social Media as a source of the way I dress,” stated Tuttle. “I have used my friends also as an inspiration.”

Both Metzger and Tuttle believe that Ugg Boots, Hunter Boots, and Sperry Boots are some of the most popular fall trends of the year.

Winter comes soon after fall and Tuttle has predictions on what the winter trends may be.

“ I think they will stay the same because it’s already getting cold out and what people wear in fall there outfits don’t usually change much from fall to winter,” stated Tuttle.
