Famed rapper Mac Miller has recently passed away at the age of 26, leaving his fans nothing less than shocked.

Mac Miller, known by his full name as Malcom McCormick, passed away on September 7th of 2018 from a supposed drug overdose.         In the light of the news, people are putting the blame on Miller’s ex. Mac Miller had dated the singer Ariana Grande for roughly 2 years, having split around May of 2018, when the the news of their break up was public.

As a result of their break up and Miller’s death, people are blaming Ariana Grande herself for the rapper’s death.

Despite this, there’s really no concrete evidence on whether or not the singer had anything to do with it. This is unlikely anyway, as the singer has spoken out about her grievances and has been seen taking care of Miller’s dog in his passing.

Miller was born in Pittsburgh, PA on Jan. 19th, 1992. He started his career early, and released his first mixtape at the age of 15.

Miller has released a total of 5 albums, “Blue Slide Park,” “Watching Movies with the Sound Off,” “GO:OD AM,” “The Divine Feminine,” and “Swimming,” with the first releasing in 2011 and the last releasing this year.

Miller also got his start by creating mixtapes, but has released a total of 12 with the most recent being released in late 2015. Some of his most popular songs are “Donald Trump” (from “Blue Slide Park,” released in 2011), “Self Care” (from “Swimming,” released in 2018), “Dang!” (from “The Divine Feminine,” released in 2016), and “What’s the Use?” (also from “Swimming.”)           Miller had 8 of his own tours, with the Swimming tour being cancelled as a result of his death.

Miller’s musical style was rap/hip hop, but he played multiple instruments as well, including drums, guitar, and piano. He also served as a music producer under the pseudonym Larry Fisherman, under which he released two mix tapes.

Miller produced music for a few other artists, including Riff Raff, SZA, and himself.

Miller had his own MTV2 documentary series, entitled Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family. There were two seasons, with a total of 14 episodes. The series featured Mac and several friends living in a mansion during the creation of his album WMWTSO.

The first season was aired in 2013, with the second airing in 2014. Mac Miller’s total net worth is roughly 14 million. Miller has also created his own record label, entitled REMember music who partnered with Warner Bros. Music.

Despite being gone, Mac Miller’s legacy will carry on.
