“Millennials are dumb. They don't know anything.” Some older generations call children who are under the age of eighteen, Millennials. However, they are not what most people think they are.

Millennials are the generation that became before Generation Z, although most think Millennials are younger. Millennials are young adults by the twenty-first century.

The older generations think that the millennials and gen-z are privileged and narcissistic people. As stated above, that is not true. Millennials and generation Z are labeled as such because of the way most act. The two generations are young and sometimes think that they should get anything they want.

I believe that people should not be stereotyped because that stereotype does not define an individual. The two generations have been stereotyped by society. Millennials as being young people and generation Z as being “zombies” or lazy.

Most of the reason for stereotyping is because of the internet. People are upset with the two generations because they prefer to shop online. Shopping online has damaged stores, which makes some stores have to close down because no one is coming into the store to buy items.

Generation Z works harder than any generation before them. This generation is in the era where everything is expensive and most have to get amazing grades just to get into college.

Stereotyping millennials means you believe that all people born in this generation are exactly the same. Get. to know the millennials and Generation Z before you label all those people a certain way.

These two generations should be known as year ranges of when people are born. People should be labeled for who they are, not labeled because of what another person did.
